United Women in Faith

The purpose of the United Women in Faith is a community of women whose purpose is to know God
and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ: to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the
church.

First UMC has a long history of support with United Methodist Women, and as it is now known,

United Women in Faith.

The Annual Fall Bazaar is a great community-builder and fundraiser for our Mission giving. Vegetable
Soup, the Country Store and the Christmas rooms are all highlights, as are the pies and bake sale items.

As this ministry continues to focus its efforts on ministries with women and children, they remain a
powerful voice for justice and witness to the many needs of our community.
